Daniel J. Demers was inspired to delve deeper into his family’s history after reading a manual about his family’s coat of arms that contained facts but no real story. Hoping to bring that tale to life, he dove into the research, eventually producing several short chapters. Having built up so much momentum, he was unable to stop and created his first work of non-fiction - Buoyant Passages.
For his second book, Daniel introduces The Jayme Adventure Series with Book 1 - Mystery in Algonquin Park. His numerous adventures in Algonquin Park and passion about the mystery of Canoe Lake and artist Tom Thomson's tragic death helped inspire the novel, his first work of fiction. Daniel lives in Oakville, Ontario, with his wife, Linda. |
